On July 3, 2024, a woman in Taipei suffered injuries to her back and sciatic nerve after the hoop she was using for aerial yoga in the community yoga room broke and she fell from a one-meter height in late May. Despite having an instructor present during the sessions, blame-shifting occurred between the developer and the management committee regarding the responsibility for the broken hoop, leading to failed negotiations for compensation due to the developer's assertion that the woman was injured due to incorrect usage of the equipment.
