A woman surnamed Gao, known as 'Buddha Sister,' was hit by a 20-year-old male surnamed Chen while riding her bicycle on Zhongzheng Bridge towards Taipei. Gao suffered a fractured left hand, multiple abrasions, and was sent to the hospital. The incident is under police investigation to determine the cause. Gao, who is often seen singing 'Buddha songs' at night markets in Taipei and New Taipei, has been a target of criticism and support for nearly 20 years due to her unique behavior. Chen's motorcycle was also damaged in the collision.
