On June 11, 2024, at around 1:10 am, a woman with a ponytail was caught on CCTV entering the Tainan Bus Terminal and randomly kicking people without reason before striking pedestrians waiting at a traffic light outside the station. Security guards intervened and alerted the police. The Tainan City Police dispatched officers immediately, detained the woman, and are investigating the case for assault. Although the victims did not press charges, the police are proceeding with the investigation. Measures to enhance security and emergency responses at the terminal will be reinforced by the city's transportation authorities.
