Anne Lee Dozier, a human rights advocate, purchased a vase for $4 (around $130 NTD) from a thrift store in the U.S., only to later discover it was a Mayan artifact dating back to 200 to 800 AD while visiting a museum in Mexico. She returned the vase, realizing its historical significance. The vase will now be preserved by the National Anthropology Museum of Mexico. Dozier expressed joy in returning the item, stating its cultural and historical value is immeasurable compared to selling it for profit.
