On the night of June 20, 2024, a female body, suspected to have been dead for several days, was discovered in a community in Taichung City's North District. The body of a 30-year-old woman surnamed Huang was found wedged between a building and a wall in the community. Police, without finding signs of foul play, are reviewing surveillance footage to determine the woman's last movements. Huang's mother confirmed her daughter's identity at the scene, stating she had been unable to contact her since June 12 and reported her missing on June 14. The cause of death is still under investigation.
