Rodlin Gravesande, a 34-year-old woman, was recently sentenced to 12 years in prison for pouring sulfuric acid on a 21-year-old woman, causing severe burns and scarring on the victim's face. The incident occurred in a Brooklyn subway station in December 2022, where Gravesande assaulted and threatened passengers before targeting the young woman. Gravesande fled to Georgia after the attack but was later arrested. The victim underwent multiple reconstructive surgeries after suffering 2nd and 3rd-degree burns.
