A 30-year-old woman recently accused a male gynecologist at a clinic in Banqiao, New Taipei City, of sexually harassing her through words and potentially using medical instruments to tease her private parts during an internal examination, leaving her shocked. After sharing her story online, she found similar experiences from other patients, raising concerns about the doctor's repeated misconduct. The New Taipei City Health Bureau stated that if the accusations are proven true, the doctor's license could be revoked, emphasizing the importance of respecting bodily autonomy and encouraging victims to report such behaviors under the Sexual Harassment Prevention Act.
