World Advanced (5347) reported a consolidated revenue of 3.57 billion in May, surpassing the previous month and the same period last year, marking the second-highest revenue of the year. Market analysts are optimistic about the company's performance in the second quarter, anticipating it to outperform the previous quarter. The company expects the market inventory adjustments to gradually conclude, industry demand to slowly emerge, and forecasts a warmer business climate in the second half of the year. May's consolidated revenue grew by 5.37% compared to the previous month and 13.73% compared to the same period last year, positioning it as the second-highest monthly revenue this year. Looking ahead to the second quarter, World Advanced projects an increase in wafer shipments by approximately 17% to 19% influenced by the recovery in demand for large-size driver ICs and power management ICs, with an expected average selling price decrease of 2% to 4% and a gross profit margin between 25% to 27%.
