The highly anticipated World Chef Taipei competition, which has been missing for 8 years, took place grandly with cooking competitions, culinary arts awards, chef demonstrations, and a gourmet market. Over 200 culinary experts from around the world participated, attracting many attendees including Taipei Mayor, Jiang Wanan. The event also featured food markets, lucky draws, cooking tutorials, and showcased recycled utensil sculptures to promote sustainability. Participants not only competed but also exchanged culinary skills, showcasing Taiwan's cuisine internationally. The event aimed to gather 30,000 people with various culinary art pieces on display, ranging from fruit and salt carvings to indigenous Taiwanese food.
