Wu Jing-yi Corrects Title to 'Former People First Party Alternate Legislator' After Outspoken: Reserved for Those Dogs

Reported about 1 year ago

On July 5, 2024, Wu Jing-yi was expelled from the People First Party and interviewed by the media. The People First Party Central Review Committee held a meeting on the 4th and decided to expel Wu for making continuous false accusations and defaming party members even after a suspension in April. Wu clarified that she never claimed to be a former aide to Ko Wen-je. In response to Wu Jing-yi's correction of her title, Wu Yi-xuan from the party's news department sarcastically commented on social media. Wu Jing-yi countered, claiming her rightful title is 'former People First Party alternate legislator.' She criticized Ko Wen-je's team as the only ones concerned with the title of 'aide,' and stated that such titles are not something to be proud of, indicating it is reserved for those who blindly support others without serving the people. Wu added that she plans to draft a statement to withdraw from the People First Party, expressing dissatisfaction with the party's actions.
