Wuhan Train Station Turned into Waterfall, Anhui Man Saves Mother by Lifting Her on Rooftop But Gets Washed Away Himself

Reported 8 months ago

Severe flooding in southern China, particularly in Anhui Huangshan, has caused over 27,000 people to be affected, with multiple homes being washed away by floodwaters. In Wuhan High-Speed Train Station, the platform turned into a 'waterfall' due to rain leaking through the roof's ventilation gaps. Amid the disasters, a man in Anhui sacrificed himself to save his mother by lifting her onto a rooftop, but tragically got swept away by the floodwaters. The floods have caused devastation in various regions, including Huangshan continuously issuing the highest-level red warning for mountain flood disasters. The man's neighbor described how he bravely tried to swim back home but was overwhelmed by the swift currents and sadly perished.
