According to Xinhua News, a symposium was held in Beijing on the 17th to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Huangpu Military Academy and the establishment of the Huangpu Military Academy Alumni Association for the 40th anniversary, with Xi Jinping sending a congratulatory letter. The old site of the Huangpu Military Academy Memorial Hall reopened in Guangzhou on the 16th, with discussions in Beijing honoring the academy's historical significance. Xi Jinping emphasized the importance of upholding the spirit of the academy and contributing to the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation. Additionally, a database of Huangpu Military Academy students' information with over 170,000 entries was launched online on the same day.
