On June 12, 2024, amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Wang Yichuan's 'phone monitoring,' he was reported by the public twice within a day for running red lights. Xu Qiaoxin posted videos on her social media platform exposing Yichuan's reckless driving behavior on June 11, sarcastically calling him out. She also criticized DPP Secretary-General Lin Youchang for evading her questions during a recent inquiry about surveilling the public. Xu further revealed instances of Yichuan's traffic violations, leading to potential fines under the Road Traffic Management and Penalty Act, with fines reaching up to NT$18,000 for each offense.
