Xu Qiaoxin sues Wang Haoyu and netizens for reposting fake 'Internet army plan', no prosecution if subject to public criticism

In a recent update, the Taipei District Prosecutors' Office concluded the investigation regarding Nationalist Party legislator Xu Qiaoxin's accusation of a Facebook page named 'Unethical PR Company' for forging meeting documents. The page alleged Nationalist Party's involvement in hiring paparazzi to follow former Minister of Health and Welfare Chen Shizhong and other Democratic Progressive Party members, leading to a repost of the alleged document by Democratic Progressive Party former Taoyuan City councilor Wang Haoyu and several netizens. The Prosecutors' Office found no malice in Wang Haoyu's repost as he questioned the authenticity of the content, resulting in no prosecution. Additionally, the netizens who reposted without commenting were also not prosecuted since the content related to election matters and the conduct of public officials which are subject to public criticism.
