Taipei, July 1, 2024, 4:10 pm - Yageo (2402) announced its June revenue, reaching 854 million NTD, up 10% monthly and 23% annually, hitting a new high in nearly a decade, driven by strong demand in automotive electronics. The company predicts a positive outlook in the automotive electronics market, expecting continued growth in revenue throughout the year. Second-quarter revenue was approximately 2.383 billion NTD, a 19% increase from the first quarter and a 15% increase compared to the same period last year, also reaching a ten-year high. Yageo plans to invest 20 million USD (about 620 million NTD) in Malaysia to establish a second subsidiary to expand its automotive product offerings. The company's global manufacturing bases currently include Taiwan, China, and Malaysia, with plans to primarily expand capacity in Malaysia over the next three years, aiming for non-China production capacity to increase to around 15% by 2026.
