Reported 9 months ago

Yagor Biomedical (6748), utilizing the world's first regenerative medical technology 'Supercritical Carbon Dioxide Platform Technology in the Application of Regenerative Medicine Industry,' not only won the Industry Innovation Award and the Silver Quality Award in the Manufacturing Technology Category of the National Drug Science and Technology Research and Development Awards in 2023 but also successfully developed three regenerative medical materials - Abbis Collagen Hemostatic Dressing, Decellularized Dermis Hemostatic Microparticles, and Decellularized Dermis Hemostatic Gel, all approved by Taiwan's Ministry of Health and Welfare's Food and Drug Administration for marketing as Class III medical devices on April 30. The company's upcoming new general manager, Lu Zhifeng, specializing in bioengineering technology and product marketing, is expected to elevate the company's operations and further shape Yagor Biomedical's brand image in the biomedical investment field. Yagor Biomedical has been a pioneer in realizing regenerative medical technology and products in Taiwan's biomedical industry, and after ten years, the Regenerative Medical Dual Law was passed on June 4, coincidentally aligning with the approval of Yagor Biomedical's regenerative medical products before the law's passage. Although the Collagen Corneal Matrix Class III medical device application is pending approval due to incomplete documentation, the company is reorganizing the necessary information for a prompt resubmission to obtain the sales license from the Ministry of Health and Welfare. Moreover, Yagor Biomedical's artificial cornea product has obtained TFDA export approval, selected India as the landing country, and has begun cooperating with an international clinical trial organization to enroll and treat 150 patients to conclude the trial results in 18 months. The company's focus on innovative biomedical products spans various fields such as wound care, dentistry, orthopedics, ophthalmology, and medical aesthetics and aims to advance into organ regeneration, including rebuilding hearts, kidneys, and livers to reduce reliance on organ donations and eliminate unethical organ harvesting practices.
