New York Yankees' captain Aaron Judge hit his 28th home run of the season, solidifying his position as the home run king, but he announced that he will not participate in the upcoming Home Run Derby, stating that he doesn't see the necessity. Even though fans were excited for his participation, Judge declined, mentioning that if the All-Star Week is held in New York, he would participate in that particular year. Judge had a remarkable season in 2017, winning the Home Run Derby and achieving various awards.
