During the MeToo scandal last year, actor Aaron Yan was accused by social media influencer Yao Le of filming private videos with him when he was a minor and possessing them, leading to Yan being prosecuted for violating laws against sexual exploitation of minors and ultimately receiving a suspended prison sentence. After reaching a settlement with Yao Le, he quickly flaunted his Chinese residency permit and announced his move to Hangzhou, China. Amidst rumors from a popular internet personality 'Potter King' claiming that the Cross-Strait Youth Association would be hosting Taiwanese internet influencers on free trips to China for filming, Yao Le responded by sharing a screenshot of his flight ticket and expressing frustration on social media. Yao Le also disclosed that he is temporarily settling in Hangzhou for a while, emphasizing that the tickets were personally purchased to dispel rumors of receiving payment for publicity. He plans to continue his efforts in writing his life story in a new place after concluding his personal matters in Taiwan, mentioning his upcoming travels and participation in local festivals before departing.
