Yellow Corporation has settled Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) claims from nonunion employees for a total of $12.3 million due to a failure to provide 60 days' notice before mass layoffs in 2023. Approximately 3,200 eligible nonunion employees in the Moore class will receive $8.75 million, while 492 union employees in the Coughlen group will get $3.55 million. The settlements also involve mutual legal releases, although other claims for health coverage and other benefits remain unresolved. The court ruled that Yellow is not liable for WARN claims from 22,000 unionized workers.
