Yilan Civilian Safety Exercise with Tzu Chi Volunteers Participating in Disaster Relief Simulation

The Yilan County Government conducted the 'National Defense Mobilization and Disaster Prevention and Relief (Civilian Safety 10) Exercise', simulating scenarios such as heavy rain, earthquakes, and enemy attacks causing landslides, floods, building collapses, fires, damaged pipelines, and infrastructure. With over 60 organizations involved and more than 700 participants, including local residents and students, various response actions were tested to verify preparedness. Tzu Chi volunteers demonstrated prompt disaster response by mobilizing resources and providing relief and emotional support on site, showing solidarity with the county's disaster management efforts.
