Yonghe Police Officer Lin Youzheng passed away on June 17, 2024, after collapsing suddenly while on duty on May 16. Despite emergency surgery and efforts to save him, he fell into a coma and succumbed to multiple organ failure. Colleagues paid their respects as his body was transported, with tears and cries of 'safe journey, mission complete.' Lin, with a distinguished 32-year police career, was known for his excellence in work, guiding junior officers, and being a role model. He gained recognition as a 'Crusader Against Drunk Driving' for his skill in catching drunk drivers, earning numerous accolades and awards for his outstanding performance.
