Young People Rush to Spend 1200 Culture Coins Before Deadline on 6/30, Crowding Cultural and Creative Shops

Reported 12 months ago

Since June 2023, the Ministry of Culture has been distributing 1200 culture coins to 18 to 21-year-olds for buying books, visiting exhibitions, purchasing handicrafts, and experiencing arts and culture. As the deadline on June 30 approached for spending the culture coins from the previous year, many young people flocked to cultural and creative shops to make their purchases, leading to long queues and crowded streets. The Ministry aims to cultivate arts and culture consumption among the youth by issuing these coins, with a wide range of options for spending like buying books, watching local films, attending performances, exploring arts and crafts markets, and more.
