On July 3, 2024, in Taichung, Taiwan, a 79-year-old man surnamed Zhang collapsed due to heatstroke, but a young woman passing by stopped to assist, called emergency services, and waited with him until help arrived. The young woman, identified as Zhang Ning'en, was on her way to a job interview when she noticed the elderly man in distress. Despite being 20 minutes late for the interview due to helping the man, the company's boss not only gave her a chance for the interview but also hired her after learning the reason for her delay.
