A popular poker player known as 'I.C Charlie' and boyfriend of Youtuber 'Dixie' was reported to have invested in an illegal gambling establishment, '6BET Live,' in Taipei's Da'an District under the guise of a bar. However, Charlie clarified on Instagram that he was not the owner, shareholder, or partner, and had no involvement in the operation or profits. He emphasized his only role was in managing poker live streams, not the illegal gambling activities, and his girlfriend also made a statement denying any association with the incident or support of illegal gambling.
