Yunlin Reservoir in Taiwan reached full water level after nearly 2 months of rainfall from the Mei-Yu Front and afternoon thunderstorms, resulting in a spectacular natural overflow and the re-emergence of a circular waterfall phenomenon on June 24th. This ensures a stable water supply for residents until the end of the year. The reservoir had faced declining water levels due to insufficient rainfall, hitting a record low in April but was replenished by increased water flow from the Qing Shui stream in late April. The current water situation is expected to support residential water needs until the end of the year, with joint water supply efforts from Yunlin Reservoir and other reservoirs in the area.
