On June 23, 2024, Yurenqi's son-in-law Chen Jian was caught on suspicion of acting as a fraudulent car driver. The police revealed that Yurenqi's husband Gary (Chen Jian) was arrested on April 30 for his involvement in an investment fraud case and was detained and isolated by the New Taipei District Prosecutors. Prosecutors investigated and found Chen Jian suspected of being a car driver, violating the Criminal Law on fraud and the Anti-Money Laundering Law, and filed charges.
