Reported 7 months ago

Ukrainian President Zelensky attended the G7 summit in Italy on June 13th and signed 10-year security agreements with the US and Japan to strengthen anti-Russian capabilities and pave the way for Ukraine's post-war reconstruction and entry into NATO. The agreements include US assistance to help Ukraine win the war and prevent future aggression, with Ukraine committing to reforms aligning with European and Atlantic values. The US-Ukraine security agreement outlines equipment and support to be provided, while the Japan-Ukraine agreement focuses on long-term aid and assistance amounting to $4.5 billion over 10 years for economic reforms and stability in Ukraine. Japan becomes the first non-NATO country to sign a security agreement with Ukraine, aiming to support reconstruction efforts and sanction Russia until Ukraine achieves lasting peace.
