The Taiwan Futures Exchange will hold a shareholders' meeting on the 24th for the election of directors and supervisors. Among the new candidates is former Vice Chairman of the Financial Supervisory Commission and current Chairman of the Securities Depository Clearing Corporation, Zhang Chuanzhang. This move is considered significant in the financial sector following the appointment of new Premier Cho Rong-tae and FSC Chairperson Peng Chung-lung, indicating a potential shift in F4 personnel changes. The remaining candidates for the other 14 positions have yet to be announced, with the focus on academic and industry professionals. Zhang, with academic, administrative, and public bank experience, served as FSC Vice Chairman from 2018 to 2020. It is anticipated that further significant personnel changes may occur once Chairperson Peng is more familiar with the industry's operations and urgent financial issues at hand.
