On July 17, 2024, in Zhejiang, Mainland China, a family of 5 experienced symptoms of headache, nausea, and vomiting after having a meal together at home. Initially suspected as food poisoning, they were later diagnosed with 'carbon monoxide poisoning' after medical examination. It was discovered that the symptoms were related to 'using air conditioning' after cooking indoors with poor ventilation, resulting in excessive carbon monoxide inhalation. The emergency room doctor warned about the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning and emphasized the importance of ventilation, especially when using gas appliances in closed spaces during the summer.
