The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) have issued warning letters to five companies selling copycat snacks laced with delta-8 THC, a psychoactive substance found in cannabis. These products, disguised as popular snacks with similar names, have led to hospitalizations and even a child's death. The agencies urge the public to be cautious of such products due to potential health risks and the danger of accidentally consuming THC without realizing it.
