On July 17, 2024, the popular Korean girl group New Jeans held a flash store event that attracted fans looking to purchase items ranging from hundreds to thousands. However, an employee mistakenly issued an invoice priced at 8 million dollars, leading the store to urgently seek the person responsible on Facebook. The incident was attributed to a cashier's error in operating the POS machine. While the department store mentioned following National Tax Agency regulations, accountants warned of significant discrepancies in sales tax if the error is not corrected.
