Meteorologist Wu Derong stated that from today until Saturday, Taiwan will be experiencing 'extreme high temperatures' due to warm air masses and Pacific high-pressure systems, advising caution against sunburn and heatstroke. Additionally, thunderstorms are expected in the afternoon due to a passing cold front, prompting warnings for potential flash floods in low-lying areas and landslides in mountainous regions.
