Indonesian police and immigration officials discovered 103 foreign scammers at a villa in Bali on June 26. All suspects, including 14 Taiwanese, were arrested for violating immigration laws and allegedly engaging in online crimes in the area. Taiwan's Criminal Investigation Bureau is working closely with Indonesian authorities to obtain complete personal data of the suspects and exchange crime-related intelligence. The suspects are currently detained in a foreign national detention center until local judicial procedures are completed before being repatriated to Taiwan. The Bureau emphasizes the government's determination to combat fraud crimes, urging citizens not to engage in illegal activities overseas.
