In Liujia, Tainan, over 10 piglets were stolen from a farm, causing a loss of over NT$40,000. Police traced the theft to Puli, Chiayi, where they rescued 7 piglets in critical condition. The thieves had taken away 15 piglets in a van. A suspect, identified as 33-year-old Pan, was arrested. The rescued piglets were returned to the farm owner, and Pan was sent to the local prosecutor's office for further investigation on charges of theft.
