According to Taiwan Television Network on June 22, 2024, at 7:20 pm, the Central Weather Bureau stated that today (23rd) will continue to be hot and humid under the influence of the Pacific high-pressure system. Temperatures range from 33 to 35 degrees Celsius in most areas, with some areas like the western mountains or valleys, Taitung, and Hualien potentially reaching around 36 degrees or higher. The weather bureau issued an orange warning for 11 areas where continuous 36-degree temperatures are likely, and a yellow warning for 4 areas. Thunderstorms are expected in some regions in the afternoon, especially in the northern and eastern mountainous areas. People are advised to take precautions and stay hydrated when going out in the scorching weather.
