A 20-year-old woman without prior health issues sought medical help for abdominal pain, nausea, and vomiting, leading to the discovery of blood clots in three veins - superior mesenteric vein, portal vein, and splenic vein. It was revealed that she had been taking birth control pills long-term, with a family history of deep vein thrombosis, putting her at a high-risk group. The condition was treated using anticoagulant medication and thrombolysis surgery, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis and prompt intervention to prevent severe complications associated with venous thrombosis.
