At the 2024 Golden Melody Awards held in Taipei Arena, GOL D won the Song of the Year with 'Dark Again,' marking their first recognition at the awards after 7 years since debut. The band also expressed gratitude for the support of their fans and shared the inspiration behind the song, which was about their intense experiences in life. Despite missing out on the Best Band award, they were greatly moved by winning the Song of the Year category.
