This weekend, major European airports, including Heathrow, Brussels, and Berlin, experienced significant flight delays due to a cyber-related incident affecting check-in and baggage systems, according to Collins Aerospace. As a result, airlines had to revert to manual check-in processes, causing disruptions. By Sunday morning, over 130 flights at Heathrow alone were delayed by at least 20 minutes, with 13 flights canceled on Saturday. Passengers are advised to arrive at least three hours prior to long-haul flights and two hours for short-haul flights as the situation is being resolved.
