An 80-year-old grandma in Thailand picked mushrooms in a bamboo forest to help her granddaughter cook, unknowingly causing the whole family to suffer from food poisoning. The family, including the granddaughter and four other relatives, ate the mushrooms thinking they were oyster mushrooms, but were actually toxic. Fortunately, they were sent to the hospital for treatment and observation, with no severe consequences. The incident serves as a reminder for people to be cautious when consuming mushrooms, especially during the current weather conditions conducive for mushroom growth.
