The latest disasters include a landslide in Xinghuang County, where 8 people are missing, and a camping group in Taoyuan County being swept away by floodwaters. Over 4000 people have been evacuated, and police in Yunxi District, Yueyang City, are using rubber dinghies to rescue residents affected by rising water levels. The province's meteorological agency has issued an orange rainstorm alert for several areas, anticipating heavy to torrential rainfall.
