Taiwan's first suspense drama set in World War II, 'Listening to the Waves', is set to air. Lead actors Wu Hanlin and Huang Guanzhi revealed the torture they endured while filming, including scenes of being beaten and bombed, leaving them covered in dirt and sand. The series, set to premiere on August 17th, depicts the harsh realities of war and the longing for home among soldiers, captives, and guards, as well as the intense battles in post-war international tribunals. The actors recounted their hardships on set, with Wu jokingly stating that they were 'eating dirt every day' due to the grueling conditions.
