U.S. financial technology firm Affirm Holdings believes that personal information of its card users may have been compromised in a cybersecurity incident involving third-party issuer Evolve Bank and Trust in Arkansas. Although Evolve's systems were breached, Affirm's systems were secure, and cardholders can still use their cards. Affirm initiated an independent investigation to check if any personal information was compromised, and ongoing efforts are in place. Law enforcement agencies are involved in the investigation.
