Air Canada experienced a decrease in second-quarter profit, primarily due to weak passenger traffic from the U.S., stemming from strained trade relations and a growing boycott of U.S. products by Canadians. The airline's profit dropped to C$0.60 per share from C$0.98 last year, while total operating revenue rose slightly. Despite the decline in profits, Air Canada plans to expand its flight capacity by up to 3.75% in the upcoming quarter.
