Air New Zealand has forecast a decline in earnings for the first half of the financial year 2025 due to persistent engine issues, with earnings expected between NZ$120 million and NZ$160 million, down from NZ$185 million last year. Maintenance delays have left a significant portion of the fleet, including six Airbus neo and four Boeing 787 aircraft, out of service, impacting the airline's operations and domestic travel demand.
