Airbus SE has finalized an agreement to acquire key industrial assets from Spirit AeroSystems designated for its commercial aircraft programs, including production sites in North Carolina, France, Morocco, and the UK. The deal, valued at $439 million, aims to stabilize Airbus’s supply chain and ensure operational continuity, with the transaction expected to close in Q3 2025 pending regulatory approvals. Additionally, Airbus will provide Spirit AeroSystems with a $200 million line of credit to support ongoing projects.
