Alexander Zverev has reached an out-of-court settlement with his former girlfriend, who accused him of strangling her in 2020. The settlement includes a 200,000 euro payment but does not constitute an admission of guilt. Zverev agreed to shorten the process for the sake of their child. The trial was halted hours before the French Open semi-final, where Zverev is a favorite, with the funds being divided between the state and charity. Zverev had been fined by a Berlin court previously for the same allegations.
