Alfred Hitchcock's iconic thriller 'The Birds' is set to premiere in Taiwan in a 4K restored version. The film, known for its animal disaster theme, used over 28,000 real birds on set, pushing the boundaries of special effects of its time and earning an Oscar nomination for Best Visual Effects. This marks Hitchcock's first 4K restored work to be screened in Taiwan. Originally released in 1963 and adapted from Daphne du Maurier's novel, 'The Birds' tells the story of a socialite pursued by birds in a small town. Hitchcock, renowned for his suspenseful films, has created several cinematic masterpieces over his 60-year career.
