TVBS News Network reported on July 6, 2024, at 7:47 a.m. that the well-known 'Jinji Fish Pastry Shop' in Tamsui, New Taipei City, was accused by a landlord of illegally renting a metal factory to produce fish pastries inside, with a dirty environment affecting food safety. However, inspections by the New Taipei City Health Bureau and Industrial Development Bureau revealed that the fish pastry operator only used this factory to store waste materials, not for food production, so no laws were violated. The operator is furious and plans to sue the landlord for 'impairing reputation'.
