Taipei prosecutors have directed two branches of the Investigation Bureau to raid the residence and office of Lin Pei-jing, who was revealed to have posed as a fake lawyer while serving as legal counsel during the tenure of Legislator Hsiao Meiqin. Lin, accused of violating the Lawyer's Act and fraud, faces interrogation by prosecutors. This case, overseen by Chief Prosecutor Zeng Yang-ling, demonstrates the prosecution's determination to combat illegal activities and scams, ensuring justice for innocent citizens. Lin, who claimed to have graduated from a law school, held various prominent positions but allegedly scammed individuals by posing as a lawyer, including fraudulent involvement in legislative matters and events alongside politicians.
