According to a recent report, Taiwan's Food and Drug Administration Director Wu Hsiu-mei is rumored to be facing repercussions due to the shortage of physiological saline solution caused by the suspension of operations at Yung Feng, a major manufacturer in the industry. However, Health Minister Shih Tai-yuan has dismissed these rumors as groundless and urged against making unwarranted connections. The Department of Health has been actively working to alleviate the shortage by increasing imports from qualified manufacturers, with over 120,000 bottles estimated to be delivered to medical institutions across the country.
